The first was sitting on my Grandfather's shoulders, picking ripe grapefruits off of the trees in my family's front yard when I was only a couple years old. The second was a trip to Grand Canyon not long after, a place that still feels like home after all these years. When Anna (Tactile Co-Founder) and I took one of our long road trips out to Joshua Tree years ago and stopped at the South Rim, I tried hard not to oversell the freshness of the desert piñon before we got there. This prevents your candle from tunneling.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt’s important to trim your wick to ¼ inch before lighting. You can use scissors or one of our stainless steel wick trimmers.
