Whether you are chronicling a bold adventure, or quietly sketching at home, this Journal will remind you of a city you love. We hand select each hide from Seidel Tannery, etch the leather with a 1906 map of London, England, stitch and finish it in our studio.

This journal is made of full-grain leather and closes securely with a solid brass Sam Browne closure. It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s a long-lasting gift for the artist, writer, or adventurer in your life.

Meaningful Graduation Gift

I purchased two Houston Map Journals for the neighbor graduating high school senior boys. Each is following a different post-high-school plan, but I know these boys well enough to conclude they will use these journals to capture names and special moments as they journey onward. They will carry this connection to their home town with them, as well. Their parents loved the journals, too - a timeless (and timely!) alternative to cash.

Pretty but unusable

While elegant, the placement of the clasp means the notebook must be removed from the sleeve for use. I wish it was functional too
