Anna started by creating several prototypes of the case pattern, tweaking each one for fit and style. We chose a 5\/6oz full-grain cowhide tanned at Wickett \u0026amp; Craig in Pennsylvania, known internationally for its superior quality. Sarah then took the cut leather and developed the carved design, a nod to some of her early hand tooled projects done over a decade ago. We gave each flask three layers of oil dye and a layer of our custom made water-resistant top coat for added protection. The edges of the leather are finished to a gloss with pure beeswax harvested from the beehive Anna keeps in her backyard.
