Tactile Craftworks is proud to support the National Park Foundation.
Whether you are chronicling a bold adventure, or quietly sketching at home, our Rocky Mountain National Park Journal will remind you of a place you love. Using top quality leather that is custom tanned for us in Milwaukee, we laser etch the surface with a 1942 map of the Park before sealing, trimming, gluing, stitching, and finishing the pieces by hand in our studio.
This journal is made of full-grain leather and closes securely with a solid brass stud closure. It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s a long-lasting gift for the writer, artist, or adventurer in your life.
*As we make each item by hand with natural materials, there may be slight variations in your journal from the product that is pictured. Unless otherwise specified, all items are made to order. Please allow up to 1 week for shipping.*

This book cover is very nice and unique but also very simple and expensive for a book cover, a journal cover with nice style points. Basically just a sheet of leather with printing on it, not carved or hand tooled like some others. Would be really nice and much more useful with a cell phone pocket and/or business card holder to extend the usage to all day or business use as opposed to just a basic journal cover.
Hi Allen, thank you so much for your purchase and opinion. We are always happy to discuss custom pocket additions, please let us know if that's something you'd like to pursue.
The leather is remarkable! So soft
